Anthony Rodriguez: Multi-Talented Photographer and Musician Supporting the Houston Yoga Community
Anthony Rodriguez is a Houston-based community partner photographer and musician with deep roots in the city’s yoga community. A creative visionary, Anthony has spent over a decade blending his love of music, photography, and yoga to enrich the lives of countless practitioners and studios.
His yoga journey pivoted in 2011 when he was invited to play live guitar for yoga classes at Joy Yoga Center. This part-time opportunity quickly flourished into a meaningful career. He was playing 3 classes per week and developed a unique skill for creating ambient, healing rhythms, enhancing the experience of yoga classes for the students and instructors.
Expanding Roles in the Yoga Community
Anthony’s artistry did not go unnoticed. His dedication to enhancing the yoga experience through music opened doors to collaborations with prominent organizations and events such as the Texas Yoga Association, the annual Texas Yoga Conference, Breakfast Yoga Club, Free Day of Yoga and Peach Outreach.
His live performances became a staple of the Houston yoga scene, with Anthony performing at numerous local events, often alongside fellow yoga musicians and accomplished instructors from all over Houston.
In addition to his musical contributions, Anthony also began investing in and developing what had been a long-time calling to take up photography, which naturally translated into him capturing the essence of yoga and mindful movement within the community and in the above mentioned organizations and events.
The Birth of AREXPRESSIONS Photography
In 2012, Anthony launched AREXPRESSIONS Photography, a business offering a wide range of photography services. While yoga events remain a core focus, Anthony’s portfolio has grown to include imaginative urban portraiture, yoga instructor graduation celebrations, family portraits, professional head shots and other milestone celebrations and events. His work captures the beauty of life as he sees it, offering clients timeless memories and beautiful artwork for their homes.

Today, Anthony remains an active contributor to Houston’s yoga and wellness scene. Whether playing music for classes, photographing special events, or simply supporting the community, his passion for art and connection is evident.
